STAREE (STAtins in Reducing Events in the Elderly) is a clinical trial, run in collaboration with your General Practitioner, investigating whether cholesterol lowering medication, known as statins, can prolong good health and maintain independence amongst older people.
The course is designed to assist policy makers, urban planners, housing professionals and home builders. Home designers and homeowners will find it useful too.
Understanding individual and family needs and preferences is essential to providing aged care and palliative care consistent with a person’s values and beliefs. Providing culturally safe care is founded on respect for peoples’ background and lived experiences.
