Regular physical activity is important throughout life, especially as we age and being active will do your health wonders and will keep the body strong.
The extra funding will see the line expanded to include outbound calls to carers of people living with dementia, as well as more specific community supports for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) seniors.
The first day of Queensland Seniors Week, Saturday 15 August, is being dubbed ‘a Day of Solidarity between Generations’, especially fitting given the need for us to remain connected and look out for each other.
