February is Heart Research Month, a month where all Australians are encouraged to make their heart health a priority and proactively participate in the fight against heart disease.
STAREE (STAtins in Reducing Events in the Elderly) is a clinical trial, run in collaboration with your General Practitioner, investigating whether cholesterol lowering medication, known as statins, can prolong good health and maintain independence amongst older people.
