The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety’s Final Report was tabled in the Australian Parliament and is now available to read on the website. The Final Report, entitled Care, Dignity and Respect, calls for fundamental reform of the aged care system.
The UN independent expert on the human rights of older persons is preparing the reports on ageism & age discrimination, and on older women's rights. Consultations have been opened until 22 March 2021.
