COTA Queensland has called on the Queensland Government to remember older tenants, jobseekers, and regional patients travelling to medical appointments, in the lead up to the 2013-14 State Budget.
Queenslanders had expressed concern that they may not have been able to vote in the forthcoming local government elections due to restrictions being put in place to battle COVID-19.
COTA has called on the State Government to assist build the capacity of older Queenslanders to make informed decisions about their housing through funding face-to-face interactive education sessions.
