COTA Queensland volunteer, Bryan Spiller, has been an active participant over recent months in the COTA Australia Consumer Engagement in Aged Care project.
This new program has been established to ensure that older people with disability currently receiving state funded disability services, but are not eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Aged care providers, sector representatives, peak bodies, older people, carers, and families, and any other interested stakeholders are invited to review the draft Bill and consultation paper and submit comments by 5:00 pm AEDT 27 January 2023.
