Contribute to a research project with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds

A research team at The University of Queensland is looking for people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds aged 65 years or over to participate in a research project, Integrating Community and Family Aged Care for Diverse Australians.

This project is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC). It aims to understand aged care experiences from the perspective of older CALD people in order to identify practice and policy avenues to support them to age well at home and in their communities. Participation will involve an interview of approximately 1 hour with a member of the research team at a venue of the participant’s preference.

The research team will provide a $30 Coles gift card to each individual participant, as a small token of appreciation for their participation in the study.

If you are interested in participating in the study either as an individual person aged 65 or over, from CALD backgrounds, living at home and receiving some level of community care support, or as a community aged care provider for CALD clients, please contact the project leader, Professor Shuang Liu, at shuang.liu@uq.edu.au.
