COVID-19 vaccination rollout

The vaccine will be rolled out in stages, over a 6 to 12-month period. The COVID-19 Vaccines National Roll-out Strategy details the phases in which vaccines will be made available.

The first to receive the vaccine will be those people who are at greatest risk of exposure and the most vulnerable to COVID-19.

It is expected the rollout of the vaccine to begin in mid to late February for the highest priority groups, pending approvals and will be made available free of charge to all Queenslanders.

COTA Queensland has been working with Queensland Health, Health Consumers Queensland, Queenslanders with Disability Network, et.al to ensure that consumers are well engaged and informed about the vaccination rollout.
