Our Policy Coordinator John Stalker has been awarded the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service medal. The QFES Medal provides recognition of demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, personal integrity and diligent service over a long period. Only those nominees whose work performance and conduct is compatible with QFES’ values and the standards prescribed in the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service are recognized with this award. John has been a member of the rural fire service for 15 years and he continues to volunteer in this role as a rural firefighter as a way of helping his community. Congratulations to John on this recognition of his committed service!
