The Queensland Government is establishing a new Queensland Accessible Transport Advisory Council (QATAC). The QATAC has been established to provide independent and strategic access and inclusion advice to the Minister for Transport and Main Roads, TMR and QR. The Council will consist of subject matter experts who are also people with lived experience and representatives of a broad range of community groups.
Nominations are now open for people who would like to be part of this Council for up to a 3-year term. Members will be appointed to the Council by the Minister from selected nominees. Appointments will be on an individual basis and based on experience and subject matter expertise. Appointments will not be made as representatives of specific organisations.
