Today most Queenslanders can expect to live into their eighties and some beyond. Longer life provides the opportunity to reconsider not only what older age might be but how our whole lives might unfold.
Every single one of us has our own story, so the lesson is to acknowledge me as an individual – don’t just look at the surface and see the wrinkles and grey hair, or frail exterior. Ask me what
my story is and what makes me feel inspired and motivated now.
To support seniors advocate for their rights, needs and interests COTA Queensland are developing a new volunteer network called COTA Community Ambassadors.
You may recognize Dudley Warhurst as one of the faces of Queensland Seniors Week. This year we are asking people to share their stories during Seniors Week and we asked Dudley to share some of his life experiences with us. What you may not know about Dudley is that he is 95-years-old and a World
