Submissions are open for the 2021 Australian Association of Gerontology Conference . The conference invites us to explore how we can work differently to improve the experience of ageing through connecting research, policy and practice. The 54th AAG Conference will be held on the Gold Coast from 9th to 12th November 2021 with pre-Conference workshops on 9th of November. There will be virtual participation options available.
AAG are very keen to include diverse perspectives, especially those from practice and those of older people and their organisations and communities. In addition to research presentations and symposia, new this year they are inviting submissions for
- Thinktanks, which bring together research, industry, policy, and older people’s perspectives through roundtable conversations;
- an art exhibition;
- practice reports to share research methodology or practice innovations from any discipline and
- presentations by end users or those intended to benefit from research including older people and their communities, industry and policy makers to discuss any topic that isn’t being addressed in practice, research, or policy.
Submissions will close on 30th April 2021.
