An invitation to join a Community Partnership Group to develop and improve Bolton Clarke’s services

Bolton Clarke invites people with an interest in ageing and aged care to participate on a statewide Community Partnership Group. They are seeking up to eight (8) members of the community from across Queensland for this opportunity. 

 

About the Community Partnership Group 

Bolton Clarke is a not-for-profit provider of independent living, health and wellbeing services. Their services include home care, retirement living, and residential aged around Australia, community education programs supporting health and wellbeing, specialist dementia support, and a dedicated Homeless Persons Program. Their work is also supported by research through a dedicated research and innovation hub.

The purpose of the Community Partnership Group is to assist Bolton Clarke to improve or develop services in response to community needs. The Group will support Bolton Clarke to ensure that community feedback is incorporated into the design, delivery and review of their services. 

The Community Partnership Group will provide diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas to inform broad areas of Bolton Clarke’s operations. This will include direct discussion with the Bolton Clarke Executive Team. 

This statewide Community Partnership Group will include up to eight (8) people from diverse locations across Queensland. Members will include those with experience of ageing, those with experience of using aged care services or who might be future users of aged care, as well as carers for older people using or looking to use aged care services. 

Who is this opportunity for? 

This opportunity would suit people  

  • over the age of 18 
  • from anywhere in Queensland, including rural, regional, and metro areas 
  • with experience of ageing and experience of using aged care services, or who might be future users of aged care or who are 
  • carers for older people using or looking to use aged care services.  

You do not need to have ever received services from Bolton Clarke in order to participate. You just need to have an interest in ageing issues, an interest in diversity and inclusion, and be enthusiastic about helping Bolton Clarke to develop and improve their services. 

Meetings will be a combination of in-person and virtual to allow participation across the state.  

In-person attendance will be at Bolton Clarke’s office in Brisbane. If you are outside the Brisbane metro area and/ or unable to attend in-person meetings in Brisbane, participation will be via video conferencing.
