Aged Care information sessions for your community

Do you work for an organisation that provides information and support in rural and regional communities?

Would your community benefit from more information about the value of support through the aged care system, and how to understand and access this?

Would you like to participate in the national Aged Care System Navigator trials in partnership with COTA Queensland?

These national trials are testing ways for improving access to aged care information and support in various locations around Australia.

COTA Queensland’s approach has been to develop and test a ‘hybrid’ version of face-to-face and virtual information sessions to reach more communities across Queensland. We’ve been doing this through working together with coordinators of community programs. In this way, we tailor the information to best meet the needs of each community and develop ways of delivering that information in a way that works best for community members.

Feedback from groups so far has been positive and for many it has been their first opportunity to participate in a digital information session. One group coordinator commented that it has helped to overcome people’s anxiety around technology and will hopefully provide the opportunity for people to access a greater range of information in the future.

We have spaces available up until the end of April 2021.

Please give us a call if you would like to explore if this might be of interest or value in your community.
