Our volunteering program benefits COTA Queensland, our volunteers and the health and well-being of older Queenslanders. We draw on the talents, experience and skills of our members and supporters while providing them with opportunities to enhance their existing skills and develop new ones.
We welcome volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience. To support their valuable contribution, we provide full insurance cover for volunteer activities and pay out-of-pocket expenses.
You can volunteer in a range of areas including:
- Telephone Information – answering calls from the public about a range of topics
- Database work
- Supporting events
- Consumer representation on committees – representing the interests of Queenslanders aged 50+ with lived experience
- Policy working groups and policy panels
For more information or to register you interest, please email [email protected] or phone 07 3316 2999.
If you decide to volunteer, we will interview you and match you with a role that suits your skills, interests and availability. You will need to complete some paperwork and do a police check.
